Fifty years ago, unknown entities known as the Enemies of Humanity suddenly appeared and laid siege to civilization. Today, children born with supernatural abilities known as Talents are sent to a special island school where they will be trained to be humanity's first line of defense against the unknown enemy. As a new transfer student, Nana arrives to the school and reveals to the class that her Talent is mind reading. The truth however is that Nana has no Talent whatsoever and she is one of the select few who know the reality behind the Enemies of Humanity.
